Privacy Notice
What this website collects, why, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do about it.
This notice covers the website at mylegaldesktop.nucleustechworks.com. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). Nucleus Tech Works is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
What this website collects
- Enquiry and access-request forms. Your name and email address, which are required, and optionally your organisation, role, phone number and message. We also record the submission time and your browser’s user-agent string.
- Your cookie choice. If you accept in the cookie notice, that decision is stored in your own browser so we do not ask again, and we may then measure which pages are visited. If you decline, no measurement happens and the site behaves identically.
This website has no facility to collect details of a legal matter, and you should not send matter details through the enquiry form.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to arrange access if you have asked for it, and to continue that conversation if you want it continued. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.
Where it is held
Submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, and this site is served by Google Firebase Hosting. Google acts as our Data Processor for both.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and access requests are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Your cookie preference stays in your browser until you clear it and is never transmitted to us.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how we use it;
- correct anything inaccurate or complete anything missing;
- erase your data where we no longer need it for the purpose;
- withdraw a consent you previously gave; and
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Write to info@nucleustechworks.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our handling of a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
The platform itself
This notice covers the website only. The MY Legal Desktop platform processes matter data on behalf of the organisation that licenses it, and that organisation is the Data Fiduciary for its own client data. The platform is governed by a separate privacy notice and data-processing agreement, provided as part of onboarding. If you are evaluating the platform and need those documents in order to complete a procurement or a DPIA, ask us and we will send them.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are write-only from the browser — the website has no ability to read back what has been submitted — and access to stored submissions is limited to the people who need it in order to reply to you.
